Useful Information:

We provide extended hours on Saturday mornings at the Polden Medical Practice at the Woolavington surgery only. These are pre-bookable appointments and therefore must be pre-booked. They are to provide a service to patients who cannot come in during routine hours. On occasional Saturdays the Nurse will provide chronic disease management clinics and may call in patients with Asthma/COPD/diabetes who work and cannot come in during routine hours.  Prescriptions can also be collected during these times.

In an emergency on a Saturday refer to the Out of Hours Service information below.

During Surgery closing hours please use the Somerset Out of Hours Service

For Out of Hours call 111. The 111 Service is available for patients who need medical advice quickly but is not a 999 emergency. The 111 service is in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Phone lines are not in operation during Saturday hours.
