Monthly Staff Training:
We do conduct Staff Training for one afternoon per month when both surgeries will be shut. These dates are advertised in advance.
We provide extended hours on Saturday mornings at the Polden Medical Practice at the Woolavington surgery only. These are pre-booked by your Doctor. They are to provide a service to patients who cannot come in during routine hours. Prescriptions can also be collected during these times.
In an emergency on a Saturday refer to the Out of Hours Service information below.
For Out of Hours call 111. The 111 Service is available for patients who need medical advice quickly but is not a 999 emergency. The 111 service is in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Phone lines are not in operation during Saturday hours.
If you require general medical advice you can telephone NHS 111. Also see the NHS 111 website.
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It's fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals.
