How to Order Your Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow up to 5 days when ordering Repeat Prescriptions – and do ensure that you have enough medication when going on holiday or over Bank Holidays etc.

Dispensing Medicines

We are a dispensing practice. For those patients living outside a 1 mile radius of a chemist as the crow flies, our trained staff in both surgeries will dispense any drugs and medicines prescribed for you after your consultation. To find out if you are within our Practice Area please click here

Ordering Medication

1. Place your Repeat ordering slip into the Prescription box  located on the wall by the Dispensary at each branch.

2. Order using our dedicated Repeat Prescription Line on 01278 722077 and press Option 3. The line is in operation weekdays 10am to 12pm.

3. Order online by clicking here. To access online prescription requests for the first time, just bring along some photo & address ID and ask our receptionists on how to register for 'EMIS Patient Access Online' and they will process you a registration. Please note if you order over the weekend this order will not be received by the Dispensary until Monday meaning repeat orders will then be ready on Friday.

Advice for Prescription Ordering:

When ordering a Repeat Prescription by phone please be aware that there is only one person operating the line and sometimes demand on the phone line can be very high. Please do NOT phone the Main Reception Line to make orders as people operating this line are not able to help with these requests at any time.

It is advised by the Dispensary team to avoid trying to order by telephone on a Monday & Tuesday as the line is at its most busiest times during these sessions. Wednesday-Friday are usually the better times for phoning the line to avoid a long queue. Alternative methods of Prescription ordering can be found above.
